Vikas obtained his undergraduate medical degree from the University of Queensland and then his FRACP and advanced training in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine in Sydney. He has been a practicing clinician in Internal Medicine, Respiratory and Sleep since 1998. He has been an educator, researcher, an examiner for the college of physicians and is now Medical Director of Ambulatory Services at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. Not only that, but the is part time Director of Medical Services at GV Health, Consultant General Medicine physician (part time) at Eastern Health, Clinical Associate Professor ( University of Melbourne), adjunct Associate Professor (Monash University) and conjoint Clinical Associate Professor (Deakin University). 

Vikas completed an Executive MBA and MPH from the University of Melbourne in 2015 and is now pursuing his PhD (part time) in Respiratory Medicine.

Vikas is published in numerous medical journals and has also attended and presented his research at several scientific meetings in the field of sleep medicine.

Vikas has a keen eye for detail, loves to travel and enjoys spending time with his family.
